Smaller, better, faster, stronger pollinator
Active throughout the day, especially in protected environments.
Very effective cross-pollination agent
GOLDFLY® (Eristalinus aeneus) is a generalist hoverfly pollinator, capable of effectively pollinating a wide variety of crops. Its effectiveness has been proven in protected cropping environments (greenhouses, net houses, and tunnels) as well as in open-field plots, both for seed and commercial crops.
GOLDFLY can improve the yield and quality of seeds and fruits, and its resistance to harsh environmental conditions, particularly high temperatures, makes it an excellent alternative or complement to traditional managed pollinators (honey bees and bumblebees). It exhibits a strong foraging behaviour, characterized by continuous and rapid visits to flowers, which ensures efficient crop pollination.
