Can pollination revolutionize the seed industry? We went to Lisbon convinced that it could, and returned home certain that the agricultural world is ready for change.

We recently participated in the ISF World Seed Congress 2026, the most important international event in the seed industry. This year, more than 1,800 experts from 78 countries and 900 companies across the entire value chain gathered together. The theme of this edition was “Joint Actions, Resilient Futures”. A message that resonates deeply with Polyfly, as our biological pollination technology aims to do exactly that: build a stronger, more productive, and more sustainable agricultural model.

So, how did the congress really go for us?

We never stopped—just like our hoverflies. In only three days, we welcomed more than 70 professional visits and meetings. We spoke with researchers, producers, distributors, and potential partners from places as diverse as Australia, South Africa, Chile, Mexico, Peru, and Canada.

It was also the perfect opportunity to reconnect with long-standing partners: we welcomed the leading seed companies from Northern Europe that we already collaborate with, strengthening our alliances and planning the next steps in our shared projects.

We also had the pleasure of celebrating a very special recognition. The congress organizers awarded us the Best Stand Award at the ISF World Seed Congress 2026.

This distinction is not only a recognition of design, but also of our unique way of communicating. We were recognized for our innovative approach to demonstrating how sustainable biological pollination can deliver real and measurable value to some of the world’s most demanding seed production programs.

Next Stop: Canada!

The experience was so positive, and the results exceeded our expectations to such an extent, that we are already looking ahead. In fact, our team has already started preparing for the next edition of the ISF, which will take place in Canada. We want to continue being present where the key decisions shaping global agriculture are made and keep demonstrating that the future of seed production lies in intelligent and sustainable pollination.
